Groupe Services Universel is transforming agriculture in Benin with innovative biofertilizers

Groupe Services Universel SARL (GSU), operating under the brand BioRiche, produces and markets natural biofertilizers and biostimulants for horticulture and agriculture in Benin. The company combines local production with sales through its own boutique, partner outlets, and field agents. Its mission is to restore soil fertility, improve yields, and support profitable, sustainable farming. The product range includes three solid vermicompost fertilizers (BOOSTEUR, STAR, TCHIGAN) and a liquid foliar biostimulant (DEFENDER).

OVO sees strong potential in the project’s market, social impact, and environmental contribution. GSU creates jobs for youth, works closely with local farmer cooperatives, and reduces chemical fertilizer use through biological inputs. The project demonstrates credible financial, social, and ecological benefits, supported by operational improvements and structured planning.
