In Morocco, rural areas remain very backward in terms of access to basic services and basic infrastructure in health and education. The maternal mortality rate remains at 111.1 deaths per 100,000 births. As many as 64% of children under the age of 10 are still unable to read or understand a text, as are 40.2% of adult women. The result is a massive rural exodus
To give the rural population opportunities to lift themselves out of poverty and boost their self-esteem. And that by working with local associations to support access to and quality of health and education services and their infrastructure at the basis. Furthermore, the result of their motivation and commitment combined with our integrated community approach (based on the development of entrepreneurship) should increase the effectiveness of quality care and education in rural areas. This approach reduces the massive rural exodus due to fundamental deficiencies in the provinces of Midelt and Fez.
OVO believes that entrepreneurship is not possible if there is no access to basic services such as health care, infrastructure and education. Moreover, through its participatory and integrated approach, this project has a great social impact and stimulates entrepreneurship among the villagers involved.

Between 2022 and 2026, 8,400 residents in rural Morocco enjoy the positive impact of the 94 socioeconomic projects they set up themselves. These micro and macro projects have an impact on social interests in the rural areas concerned. They include healthcare, education, bridge building, water damage management, sanitation, gender equality and environmental protection
