“Team Projects” identifies, screens and coaches entrepreneurial projects towards investment and business plan achievement.
Team Projects hosts 4 Cells:
- Coaching : The purpose of the cell Coaching is to maximize the performance and development of selected entrepreneurial Small & Medium Enterprises in Africa by assisting them to clarify the company’s objective and strategy, to identify and develop the necessary skills and to acquire appropriate resources to run a successful business. Cell Coaching hosts a pool of Business Coaches who are each allocated to an entrepreneurial initiative that was selected and is supported by OVO.
- Expertise : The objective of cell Expertise is to give entrepreneurs access to domain expertise (country, sector, functional, technology) in order to enable further growth and development of the business. Cell Expertise hosts a pool of Experts, who are available on call for assistance with specific domain issues.
- Country Coordination : The cell Country Coordination is in charge of overviewing and managing the initiatives and projects in the target region and countries: organization of the yearly ST4A program, follow up of and support to ongoing projects (investees) and support to program alumni.
- ST4Africa Fund Selection: ST4Africa Fund Selection identifies the African companies in the OVO ST4A portfolio that are eligible for the final structural equity investment via the ST4Africa Fund. The purpose is to assist identified enterprises in preparing the investment case for submission at the (independent) ST4Africa Fund Investment Committee. The ST4 Africa Fund Selection cell is composed of a selection of dedicated volunteers.
